Are Horizn Studios products free from harmful substances?

All Horizn Studios products are free from PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFAS and PTFE are commonly used in water- and dirt-repellent coatings for textiles – the protective coatings used on Horizn Studios suitcases contain neither.

All materials have been carefully reviewed and switched to PFAS-free alternatives.

Please note that the Gion Backpack Sport and some colours of the Gion Cross-Body Bag currently still use tarpaulin material, which contains PVC. Once current stock is sold, these will also be switched to nylon – as has already been done for the Gion Backpack Travel and the Gion Backpack Pro.

All Horizn Studios products are also REACH-compliant – in line with the EU regulation on the protection of human health and the environment.
